Site or partner data may not be used for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose. An authorized official process must be obtained from Illinois State Police or another legally compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General explanations of Logan County records are not legal advice. A licensed Illinois attorney should address how a warrant, charge, conviction, sealing rule, or expungement rule applies to a specific person.

6. No Warranties

Content and services are provided as is and as available. No warranty is made that information is complete, accurate, current, secure, error-free, or continuously available. Official sources may change, and criminal records may later be corrected, sealed, or expunged.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Outside government pages, portals, legal resources, and search tools have their own terms, prices, data practices, and availability. This site does not control or accept responsibility for those services.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, site text, graphics, branding, and code are protected and may not be copied, changed, distributed, or reused without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent Illinois law allows, the site and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, or use of a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, costs, and demands resulting from that user's conduct, misuse, or breach of these terms, including reasonable legal expenses.

11. Governing Law

Illinois law governs these terms, including applicable consumer-protection rules under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, 815 ILCS 505. A dispute must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction in Illinois.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A new version becomes effective when posted, and later use is governed by the revised terms.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain effective. The affected provision will be limited only as much as needed to make it enforceable where possible.

15. Questions

Questions concerning these terms may be directed through the Contact page.
